Any way the background could be maroon instead of blue?
Do any other PL schools have forums on this site?  Links?

Some of the designs had maroon, but they were too busy/hard to read. This one was the cleanest.

The other PL forums are in the Links forum.

Our forum "attendance" is the weakest in the PL.  we have to get the word out so we are relevant and interesting.  How about an ad on the Colgate Athletic web site?

Don't think they'd go for that. I've got the caveat up top in the banner saying this site is not affiliated with the University or Athletic dept. They probably don't want to be associated with the unknown of what people may say on a message board.

The best option is likely word of mouth. Send the link to your Colgate/PL friends, post about it on Facebook/Twitter etc.

Ryan, someone is posting drug info on the old website. Probably the Russians. Just an FYI.

Thanks, deleted it. Was posted from Cameroon. Didn't realize there were 'gate fans out there...

How can we broaden our audience to get better flow of info and opinions.?

Embedded fishing scam on this site for Safari with ipads

I have found that a weakness in the Safari program is being exploited by fishing scammers using Ipads. And so I would ask the Administrator to contact the website and discuss whether this site has been compromised and/or remedial steps can be taken.

If not, then I would advise NO ONE to use this site with Safari on Ipads and Iphones!

Symptons: After I use the site with Safari on my Ipad a message pops up asking me to "click here" to win something. This is an obvious fishing scam to steal personal data. So what I do immediately is go to Ipad Settings, then Safari and delete website data and history. (This is the recommended solution found on Google but it only works until the next time I go to the colgate.sports forum. This pop up does not appear after any other program I use.)

Please let us know what you find is the best course of action. Otherwise, we might as well consider a more secure blog platform for future use.

I'll try to pass along the info, but I couldn't replicate the issue on Safari on my iPhone.

thank you Steve.  I wonder where that stuff came from.

Issue was posted on their help forum: http://forum.myfreeforum.org/sutra156551.php#156551

Reporting the problem apparently worked as I have not seen these pop ups in the past few days. Great!
