Time to move the camera inside

It's time to move the cam inside in the new rink. It will be very interesting! Anyone know who to inform?
go'gate

I had contacted this person at one time when the camera was looking at the ground!  She had it up and running within a day or two:

Lisa Diehl
Administrative Assistant, Athletic Communications
ldiehl@colgate.edu

I would prefer multiple exterior cameras, especially from the front...or just a wider angle lens!  Guglieri, Chun & Co. are not posting pics as often on the MHOC twitter page!
60salum

Agree with Zappa. By this time they should be working on the interior. It would be great to see how the Riggs Rink is shaping up. Ideally it would be helpful to have one camera outside and maybe 2-3 inside.
Gate'83

I sent a note to Vicky.  If/when I get a response will post.  Might be the only relevant hockey info the rest of this year... Sad
Gate63

I reached out to Ann-Marie Guglieri. Here is her response:

Quote:
Thanks for the note! We have 1 coming and a go-pro view.. Stay tuned! 266 days away from opening!

Zappa

Big wind storm last night, the camera moved a little south.
60salum

Looks like the camera is back on the maroon port-a-potties as before.
Gonna be there Sat. nite zappa?
Oldtimer

Time for more internal and external shots of Class of '65 Arena. It's been 2 plus months since the last set so a lot of progress should have been made...
Steve

I have heard from Ann-Marie. It won't be long so give it 10 days.
Go 'gate!
Zappa

I'm glad the mudhole cam refreshes every ten seconds, ok, it's been over two months since Cornell took pics of the interior. Maybe Bob can take some more ?
60salum

Happy to report maroon port-a-potties have not been stolen by Syracuse students as of this date.
Zappa

No SU "raiding" parties shaving an S into some Gate students head ?

Updated indoor pic on Guglieri's twitter page

[/img]
60salum

Geez....I see nothing in the photo to give me scale, but this picture makes the rink look very small. Is that the final seating? I hope I'm wrong but the seats look as though they wouldn't hold as many as Starr does. In fact this looks like a Foamcor model of what '65 Arena would be. Someone reassure me please.
The Future

This is a new video posted today on Guglieri's Twitter. Look at the steps in the background for scale. Looks like the fans will be right up close to ice. Not a huge arena, for sure but it seems like the right size and should be loud with the way the seats are wrapped around the rink. Room to stand and watch for bigger crowds.

https://twitter.com/guglieri2313
Oldtimer

I agree with The Future, this is an intimate rink with plenty of standing room to accommodate crowds for important or rivalry games. I think the intent all along was to make it the size of Starr or smaller based on recent history. The old saw of what's more desirable a small restaurant full or a large restaurant half empty was the guiding philosophy. It will also put a premium on getting tickets so they should become more desirable. Definitely should be a great venue to watch hockey in as well as raise the volume to the rafters when the situation merits...
Zappa

Relax , it looks smaller because the chairbacks are not in yet. Looks like about 6-7 rows of seats, I'm thinking with the 2500 seats and standing room will put it close to 2800-3000.
go'gate

Thought I had read the seating will be less than Starr.
Zappa

Pretty sure I've read 2500 seats.
Oldtimer

I believe both of the last 2 notes are true in that Starr seats more than 2500 when filled to the gills...
Zappa

2246 Starr
Oldtimer

I stand corrected...I thought I recalled reading somewhere that with the ramp above the seats circling the top of the arena  Class of '65 would provide the same if not a bit more access than Starr for the Cornell and playoff games when it has the greatest likelihood of being filled...
Oldtimer

Why is the Athletic Dept so stingy with pictures of the new arena. Yesterday's update article from the Athletics site shows a partial side view and that's it. Hey, a view of all sides, the entrance, and the rink and stands shouldn't be that hard to share...PLEASE
Steve

I agree and have asked Ann-Marie Guglieri about this. A few photos on twitter would do a treat until and alongside the loooong awaited interior webcam works.

Go 'gate!
Steve

For now, and about the interior, please look at this twitter feed and the
video of 22 April. It shows a wide angle view of the arena with the floor going down.

60salum

Thanks for the time lapse video Future. Looks like they are making progress on the rink floor. Hope we get some permanent cams inside soon.
Steve

The interior webcam should be live mid next week following the installation of an exterior antenna that will boost the current weak signal. This is what the current holdup is about.

Go 'gate!
Steve

The twitter feed today shows more exterior panels being installed on the south end of Class of 1965 Arena.

Go 'gate!
Steve

I am still following up about this interior webcam. What can I say? It's taking very long. Maybe next week and when it is John Painter, SID, will put the link on the athletics website.
Go 'gate!
Oldtimer

Web cam is great but someone walking through with their smart phone and taking about 25 still photos would even be more useful/appreciated... Very Happy
Oldtimer

Same goes for the exterior. Since 1/28 we have one pic of the outside of the building which doesn't even include the entrance...hard to figure. I will say I had assumed the building was all stone so that issue was cleared up...
Zappa

Somewhere I read the graystone(or bluestone) is done and the Takla sp? panels will be going up soon. Googled Takla and it is architectural concrete panels, shows a building at Hamilton College with it.
Steve

Yes, the blue stone is complete apart from the areas immediately around the main entrance on College Street where construction e.g. window frames and panels continue. The takla are light beige panels of different rectangular and square sizes that overlay the brackets on top of insulation. While the south end has most of the takla panels in place, the other 3 sides have insulation and some brackets in place. So lots of work yet on the largest east side, west side and the frontage on the north side.
If bluestone had been used on all exterior surfaces the project would have had a much higher price tag. And so where the bluestone is going on will make for an attractive look. The "new rink envy" crowd - I mean, how long have you heard about storied this and that Lynah? - will have a lot to chew on. Bluestone outside, the interior sight lines and amenities, and branding will be most impressive- thoughtful and LEED efficient, as designed.
When the interior webcam is operating, I will ask John Painter to
add some new exterior photos of Class of 1965 Arena so you can see the latest progress from more angles.
Go 'gate!
go'gate

I think most of the blue stone is set in pre-fab panels.  A college near me uses the same.  It looks nice enough but the seams are obvious and is not as nice or authentic as if stacked or laid by hand like Ho Science Center.  Obviously a cost factor.  Would even look nice on walls inside where the zamboni enters.
Gate'83

New angle on the exterior webcam!  It's across the street now, so you can see into the entrance.  Certainly a better view than the old one of the port a john and mud puddle...
Steve

Sorry go'gate!, but not true. This is a quality build. The bluestone is assembled on site with each one between roughly 4-5 inches deep, depending.

Go 'gate!
Steve

Gate'83,

What's the link for the new webcam on the frontage?
I will ask John Painter to add it to the athletics website's "progress" article.

Thanks and Go 'gate!
Gate'83

http://www.colgate.edu/offices-an...ebcams/class-of-1965-arena-webcam

I don't have that page bookmarked, but if you go to the "Webcams around Colgate" page (http://www.colgate.edu/offices-and-services/communications-office/webcams) there's a link in the menu on the right of the page.

By the way, the link on the cam on the athletics site doesn't work last time I checked... might want to let John know that as well.
Steve

Done. Thanks.

Go 'gate!
Zappa

Nothing there, this is getting absurd !
Steve

Zappa,
The "done" was about passing the request to John yesterday. He will add the link to the webcam on the arena's frontage today. I just spoke with him.

Steve

Now added to gocolgateraiders.com, "view progress" article on the Class of 1965 Arena.

Not an inside view, a different exterior view.  If I said something that made you think an interior cam was up, apologies!  It's still a better view than we had previously.
Raider Archivist

Thanks, Gate '83
Gate93

Interior camera is up - currently it is nearly as exciting as the old porta-potty view!

Click on the college street view link - interior web cam shot is located below the exterior web cam view.
Steve

I don't know what you expected from the interior webcam but I am glad that it
is operating so we can see the progress underway within the arena through its opening in September.

I have asked John Painter to add some new exterior photos to the article soon so everyone can see progress on the other elevations as the composite surfaces are added above the blue stone etc. They are almost complete on the south end opposite the College Street entrance on the north side.

Glass going up on front--really taking shape. That interior cam shows how on top of the ice the fans are. Should be loud!

Grrrrrrrrr     I can't see after waiting this long. Says I may need to change my computer configuration, wth does that mean ? I've looked under help etc, can't find anything about comp configurations ? Help please !

60salum

It loaded for me, both links worked. It repeats itself about every 10 seconds. Try it again zappa.
Gate93

Steve - It was everything I expected, just poking a little fun at those on here, myself included, who were so anxious for the camera to be set up when the reality is not much visible happens on these cameras about 90% of the time.  Even when something is going on it can be difficult to understand - they are obviously doing  something to the ceiling right now but that is out of camera view.

In any event a big thanks to you and all at Colgate who are working to keep those far removed from campus up to date on the project.  For those that haven't found them, Ann-Mari Guglieri has a ton of additional photos on her twitter account.

btw do you or anyone else know what the purpose of the framed in area above the main entrance is?  It's at the same level as the press box - more press/broadcasting area or something else?
Steve

The framed in area above the main entrance is double story and has no functionality. The stairs are at the rear to the seating areas. To the left of this grand entrance area and facing onto College Street on the second level are a concessions area, a kitchen and public viewing. Behind this viewing area is a concourse, then the 932 sq ft VIP lounge overlooking the ice, its kitchen and toilet. The press areas are on the east side of this level.

I hope this clarifies what's where.

Go 'gate!
Zappa

Webcam's been down for 4-5 days again !
Steve

Zappa,
It's the interior webcam that is not delivering. The exterior one is ok.

The interior webcam has been down for about 9 days in a row with ITS saying "a variety of factors are involved, namely that we are using the cellular network to stream video in an area that has mediocre 4G coverage. Secondly, the network cable from the booster is at it's length limit, which may also be a contributing factor -it's a big building! Network capabilities are not yet installed so we are at the mercy of this solution at the moment".

Until this is addressed I hope you and everyone else can see the twitter messages from Ann-Marie and colgatehockey including
today's post of the scoreboard being assembled on the arena floor
for wenching to the ceiling when ready. The photo shows too that all
the seating is in place.

I have more luck with the campus webcams using my iphone than my computer for some reason.

http://www.colgate.edu/offices-an...ces/communications-office/webcams
Oldtimer

I just tried all webcams and only the one of downtown Hamilton was working. Clearly not on anyone's radar which is a shame...
Steve

I just checked colgate.edu, About Colgate and Colgate Campus and the 5 webcams offered and labeled Coop, Quad, Ho, Class of 65 (exterior one) and Village all operate.

I am using my Mac desktop and wifi, if that helps.

Go 'gate!
Zappa

Village of Hamilton 12 south is the only one I can get.
Gate'83

Like Steve, I get all the webcams with a Mac laptop & wifi.  I suspect you need to update your flash software & that should solve the problem, but I am by no means a tech expert so take that reco with a grain of salt!
The Future

The cameras don't work on my Chrome for me but they do on Opera--I'm sure I could fix this but I already have a lazy fix. Maybe try a different browser.

The photos here are pretty great:

@Guglieri2313

(Copy and paste that into your browser for the Twitter account)

The last shot of the scoreboard really shows how nice it's going to be.
go'gate

Exterior cam working today...interior cam, not so much but at least they admit it on the page Wink
Zappa

It's obvious they don't want us to see the interior, wonder why ?  Anyway, upon visiting Hamilton there was an open door in the rink so I ventured inside. Figured they wouldn't arrest me, after about TWO minutes a guy in a hardhat came over and said I couldn't be inside. He said the ice was going on around Aug 15. Very nice, the walkway is wide and the railings have a ledge to lean on.
Gate'83

I'm up to play in the Slater this afternoon Zap, if you can get down this morning they're giving rink tours from 11-12:30.  If I see anything interesting, will let you know!
Steve

Zappa,

Thanks for the update. It's a relief to learn from you and people on the ground what is going on. This is exactly with supporters, both the general public but especially donors, want to hear!

Go 'gate!
Zappa

C'mon 83 awaiting your report on the rink. Clear those Hamilton cobwebs  Embarassed
Gate'83

Hey, it takes a little while to get moving after a night in Hamilton!  Anyway, we did get a peek at the rink and I don't think they're guarding state secrets in there... but still a very active construction site, they were very careful to emphasize nails etc on the ground & watching your step.  Anne Marie and coach both said we're on time and on budget for the opener, though must admit there was some skepticism about that amongst the crowd.  Still a lot of work to do!

First impression was that the new rink will be great.  They've thought hard about making it an intimate experience, getting the fans as close to the action as possible.  First row of seats are right up next to the glass, and in the student section (the only place with bench seating) the first two rows will be standing room, which I'd imagine could get pretty rowdy.  The seats have also been put in at the maximum incline allowable before making handrails necessary, so even from up higher we should feel close to the action.  Scoreboard looks great, there's a real pressbox (I'd imagine our telecasts will be better), and although there's not much to see of it yet the Tighe Sullivan reception area (directly behind the goal we defend twice) is going to be a huge upgrade versus the bowling alley.  The older players were also very amused with the locker room and players lounge, "Imagine what Slats would think of that!" (apparently not much).

My team was solidly middle of the pack in the golf tournament where a good time was had by all.  Played with Jordon Kadlik, the equipment manager and a great kid.  Hopefully I've now got a source for a couple of tshirts!
Zappa

Is the reception room private, thought I read somewhere it cost an extra $500 a year besides your season ticket ?
Where will the poor peeps buy a beer ?
go'gate

So the players' locker rooms and lounge are underwhelming and unimpressive?  This is a one-shot deal for the next 60 years!!!  Sad

I am hoping for a much better museum-like venue and display for championship trophies, NHL draftees, jerseys, and Colgate hockey history.  Is there anything planned?  Chun has been great at raising our athletic profile and branding (see Guglieri's recent pic on twitter)...but have never really been a fan of our current mascot, Raider.
Gate'83

Sorry, was going for tongue in cheek... the older players thought the new dressing room and lounge will be so nice that Slater wouldn't have approved, would have thought them too good for his boys.  Apparently he ruled with an iron fist...

There will be a whole wall displaying trophies/memorabilia etc. right as you walk in to the lower level concourse, which is where the ticket window will be.  I think it will be much more impressive than what we had at Starr, particularly since you've got two full stories to work with in the lower lobby.  Anne-Marie also talked about an interactive feature for the kids in the lobby, though I was in the back at that point & didn't really understand what it will be.  I don't remember the other details exactly, but clearly got the sense that they had thought about presentation throughout... color scheme, the life size pics of the athletes they've been featuring the last few years... all will be used & tie together.

Zap, the reception area looks to me like there are a bunch of seats connected to but just outside of the reception area (you access them from the box), I think those are the expensive seats you referenced.  I think the intent is to use the box as a between periods bar that we can all use, but can't guarantee that.  Will try to confirm..
go'gate

Appreciate the info!

I guess the ice is down !
Steve

Yes, by chance I have seen twitter photos showing that the ice was laid this week.

That said, it seems that no one has bothered to deliver on the opportunity to market this project during the past few months since the John Painter article from April on the athletics website. That's too bad, in my opinion, and represents a disservice to donors and supporters alike. Not everyone uses twitter, nor does twitter lend itself to more than snapshot short marketing blurbs. Why do we have to wait until the Class of 1965 Arena opens on 1 October to learn how things are going?

I hope that next time Murray Decock sponsors a project for the athletics department he puts someone creative and thoughtful on the job.

About time the gravel-mud bowl parking lot is paved, should have been done long before the arena was built.
go'gate

Disappointed with the infrequent updates via pics or videos of the NAF.  The communication to the public has been sporadic at best with many lame pics.  The excuse of not having an interior cam due to ongoing construction is ridiculous.  As a loyal patron and alum, the athletic department fell short on keeping the public visually informed and tweets regarding how many days until the Arena opens do not suffice IMO.  As of today, still looks like a lot of work to do but know they will get the job done!

Had to email my seat preference to Kenny Copps; how can out-of-town ticket holders possibly come to campus to select a seat on a Monday between 4 & 7pm?!  He replied immediately and said my preference would likely be granted, great guy!!!
Steve

I agree entirely. Where is the marketing savvy?

It's obvious that Vicky and staff think this is just a construction project to be delivered on time and on budget - as they like to tweet.

And that's it?! That's the best we can do? I hope not... After all, how is Murray going to raise enthusiasm and bucks for future athletics projects if this narrow minded approach suggests they take for granted their supporters?

As I posted way earlier in this thread, I hope that Murray, under this new president's direction, takes this matter seriously when he wants to renovate Reid with a much-needed additional indoor practice facility in Starr's place.

Go 'gate!
Zappa

People are very upset about the three hour window on a Monday from 4-7 PM. At least do it on a weekend ffs.
Hoping the rink gets finished on time, I noticed they worked on Saturday yest(union)?
The woman have a game in 13 days, one week before !
60salum

It better be finished! I was guaranteed tix for Oct. 1st.....plus that's Homecoming with football game and other athletic contests wrapped around the dedication of the Riggs Rink at 11 AM Saturday.
Zappa

The walk thru is this Monday, women play a exhibition game against Toronto in nine days. Anyone know if there's ice on Starr ? Are they practicing at the new rink ?
Gate93

Ice went in on August 23rd.  Not sure what people were hoping for in terms of updates but I think the staff has done a pretty good job of putting out regular updates through twitter.  They aren't anything in depth but, having been around a few big construction projects, the reality is "exciting" things are pretty rare.  Cumulative process with small steps adding up.  Curious to hear what specifically those who wanted more would have liked to see.
Steve

What do supporters of the largest project at Athletics in decades expect to see?

Speaking for myself, and bearing in mind that the last update on the athletics website is dated April, I would have liked periodic coverage of milestones reached in terms of the planners' original timeline such as when the ice was going down and what contingencies were in place. That way we could all experience the excitement with more context than tweets would offer.

Today the curious and off campus viewers of this site learned that fabled Starr is still in service, bandaids and all, and that ice has been available for a few weeks now so as to ensure that our teams are in shape for competition. That's part of what I am talking about.

I am on campus now so I can see what's what and also see up close what even the webcam cannot show clearly. There is still significant
panelling work to be done on the exterior beige wall panels, faux wood panels and ceiling panels near and above the entrance. The entrance hall, as you may have seen in recent tweets, has its ceiling done although I am not sure about the flooring. The lobby's main wall around the ticket sales area is still bare plasterboard. The drainage area to the northeast of the arena on College Street was excavated a couple of days ago.

As has been the case for the past couple of weeks, I imagine that tomorrow will be a full work day as the crew prepare for next week's
visit by ticket season purchasers. You can see that the effort is concentrated and focused on this final stretch.

One of the most impressive changes is when you step back and take in the extensive work to the Fred Dunlap stands underway, the new
paved parking lot for the arena and Andy Kerr and the new heavy gage and attractive fencing along College Street from the arena towards the stadium's endzone. All worthy of coverage.

Go 'gate!
Zappa

Heard they screwed up the color of the ice, too dark in a big area. Wouldn't think this is a big problem. They are actually working today(Sunday), hmmmm, this is a bit worrisome.
Steve

I had a chance to visit the new arena today in connection with the preview and seat selection for season ticket holders. As you may know, the first exhibition game is this Sunday with the season's first game on 1 Oct., Homecoming Weekend, with women vs New Hampshire and men vs Army, the same day as football vs Cornell, as well as volleyball, soccer and field hockey and club rugby that weekend.

So with 5 days to go the plan is "Go BIG or go home!" The arena - its appointments, that massive scoreboard, the seating sight lines, wide concourses, steep angles down to seating rows and the seamless glass, lobby, lounge, press facilities and office areas - is extremely impressive. At one end zone along the concourse and opposite the VIP lounge are 10 foot high block maroon COLGATE letters. There are stylized logos on the walls, All America jerseys and dedication plaques. No signage for concessions (I never understood what we were conceding) but a simple and stylish vertical sign with an arrow "Eat". The punters and staff who also had their first look-in today are all excited!

The ground floor entrance lobby is not finished although the locker areas, meeting rooms, offices and training rooms for the 6 teams which will occupy the building are ready or very close. Just now the men's ice hockey team tweeted photos of their locker and team rooms.

Anyway, and for now, its capacity is similar to Starr Rink, but that's the only overlap. It is incredible. Even the blue lines are extreme blue. Just remarkable and no doubt a game changer for Colgate's students, the wider community and recruits for the 6 teams- ice hockey, soccer and lacrosse.

I wish I could supply some photos to whet your appetites but I expect that the teams or Sports Information will do so soon. Can't wait to see the building in few days when it's completed for the No. 8 women's ice hockey exhibition vs Toronto Aeros!

Go 'gate!

Ps- Zappa, the ice looks fine.

The person I talked to who went yest said it was done very poorly, quelle surprise ! Gestapo only let fifteen people in at a time and as someone exited that amount could enter. He said he waited half an hour in the hot sun in line and people were very upset.
Thank you Gate63 for putting pics up, why won't Gate put decent pics up ???   I don't understand.
I left calls Friday to the ticket office, was not answered, called again yest with some basic questions, still have not been answered.
This is just not acceptable for someone who has followed Gate hockey for over fifty years, I may not buy season tickets. What is going on down there ?
Steve

Zappa,

I hope that your ticket questions and other matters have been settled with the Office. I am sorry, too, since I have always found Kenny Copps very helpful!
Maybe he was overwhelmed by the past couple of days with so much going on with the arena viewings and requests?

Also, and about followup, I heard from John Painter yesterday that he is planning a preview article for the Homecoming and future game programs that will also be posted online.

Kenny did finally call me late yest. He apologized and said he was moving his office the last two days.
Steve

Yep, Kenny is moving to Class of 1965 Arena. And I saw on today's men's lacrosse support group newsletter that Coach Murphy's team leaves Reid for its new locker room and offices on Monday. There's the women's ice hockey scrimmage on Sunday vs Toronto Aeros, open to everyone.

What this signifies is that we will all get to experience this terrific new facility in just 4 days! The anticipation on campus and in town to enter and tour the building -including this includes the coaches and staff - is intense.

See you there.

Go 'gate!
Steve

Here's an update on the final few days leading up to this Sunday's whoc exhibition game in The Class of 1965 Arena.

The name is now displayed with raised letters on the side facing Andy Kerr Stadium. Sharp, prominent and in keeping with its sophisticated design.

Another big change is the lobby is coming into its own and the exterior wood-like panelling on its exterior ceiling and the frontage is probably only a couple of more days until completion.

And about the clever and spirited murals around the arena itself borrowing from the Colgate seal and lore, the area above the lobby ticket area sports a graphic and verse from the Fight Song, as follows:

With heart and hand now we'll win for thee!

Given this level of forethought and attention to detail alongside the quality of execution you will witness when you visit the arena, I am
absolutely confident you will feel the same way I do! No wonder in today's AD's Corner article on the athletics website Vicky mentioned how grateful and pleased she is -tearfully so - with the project.

Go 'gate!
go'gate

Thanks for posting the pictures link; would think the Athletics web page would do the same, but no luck.  Kenny Copps moving offices...since when does staff move their own stuff?  A one-man show means the communications office shuts down?  Sounds ridiculous.

From the pictures, was unimpressed and most disappointed with the plexiglass jerseys on a stark, white wall.  It looks like an afterthought and lacks creativity but hopefully is more impressive in person.  Personally, I wanted an entire corridor or room dedicated to trophies, jerseys, pucks, sticks, murals, and championship banners!!!  My biggest gripes with Reid were the cases and displays that looked uninspiring and could have belonged in any high school hallway for pete's sake!  I always liked the ECAC standings chart in the main lobby so hope that one or another like it is present.

Any banners hanging yet?  Will they leave them at Starr and make new ones?  What about ECAC team banners?  Those rafters need some color!  Despite my personal preferences and petty criticisms, cannot wait for a new era to begin and grateful to those who made it happen.  Disappointed with our preseason ranking though.

Still waiting for my season tix to arrive and to see what seats I have...the Sept. 19 timing of seat selections seems very late and poorly planned.  Have yet to read anything on athletics page about a dedication ceremony as mentioned by someone else...
60salum

Dedication is Saturday at 11 AM, but don't know exactly where in or around the new arena   Question
Steve

I am just back from the first game, an exhibition vs Toronto Aeros by the women's team. Roughly 300 people visited and shared their first impressions with staff.

Firstly, the venue is close to ready with 5 days to go for the dedication. Sure, there is a snagging list both inside and outside. Nothing unexpected to me. And since Monday the ECAC league and the 9 ECAC and NCAA flags are up.

Contrasts for the punter? The arena may have the same capacity as Starr but with the wide and generous concourse, refreshment areas and Tighe Sullivan lounges, the restrooms and the large lobby on the ground floor we will have a much better experience. Then there are the over-ice large Daktronics high definition screens showing replays and promotions. Great!

That said, the 3 brass goals horns are way too loud!!! They probably have a range of 5 miles and would impress were they on the Queen Mary 2. Ditto for the high noise levels of announcements and music. Chalk the experience up on the complains board.

I hope you make it up for Homecoming to see this game changer for yourselves.

Go 'gate!

Went yesterday to the exhibition, I must tell you the rink is phenominal. Everything Steve said is spot on, from the marble stairway in the entrance to the incredible ease of getting around on the walkway and all the space by the concessions stands. The sight lines are incredible except at the ends where you look thru the netting, that includes the VIP room. I would have to say it's even better than I expected.
