In the 2016 graduating class, Kathy is losing arguably one of her best classes in her successful career. Their 2015 record is deceiving because the Sophomore 2014 Goalie of the Year,  Breanna Mason was sidelined with an injury in the 2015 Jr. year season. Without her, the core 6 Seniors in 2015, who had all saw starting time their Freshman year, couldn't quite pull it together. But, they'll depart with one reg season championship a Tournament crown, NCAA tournament participation and appearances in the PL playoffs every year. They're all great students to boot. But, Breanna will be back next year as one of the ti-captains. But who's going to replace the departing core ? And who is going to be the coach assisting Kathy ?

The assistant that Kathy hired for this season to replace the Associate Coach of 12 years ( who departed Spring 2015 for a similar job at Ohio State ) is gone. So, she's at a crossroads with her  almost 25 year storied program at Gate.

Check out the recent recognition of Kathy's program to understand the tradition that she'll be trying to continue.

Colgate Woman's Soccer was rated by USA Today within " The top 10 Division I schools for women's soccer Combining Athletics and Academics."
